Character, main and offspecs:
Paladin. Protection / Retribution
What is your main spec and why?
My main spec is protection due to my long time playing it, started back in BC for Morogrim Tidewalker. Then when prot got viable in late BC i started playing it. The weight that a tank has is what makes the gameplay so much more fun and challenging.
Which talents do you use and which changes (if any) do you make for each specific encounter of the most current raid?
Blessed Hammer is just stil so strong.
(holy shield can be good but its rarly, Star Augur was the only one i used it on mythic and i actialy think i only used it for some pulls and then i used Blessed Hammer again ) the new legendary will be awsome because its not a bad talent, its just not that much fights where its needed.
(30)First avenger or Bastion of light
- First avenger is a good dps output but also with the artifact wpn a shield so it can be good for most of the bosses even singleratget because of the 50% dmg boost aka 50% better shield. Bastion of light is more of a safe guard. I used it on trilliax when progressing because it was easy 3 stacks of SoRT, but i mostly dont use it. Crusaders Judgment, you can use it but only rarly.
(45)I guess blinding light for the blind
(60)Blessing of Spellwarden
- Super good on alot of fights to ignore spells. Star Augur to ignore Absolut Zero when gettig the 3 stack, Gul'dan to solo the brand etc
Cavalier can be used on fights with alot of movement or when in need of BoP.
(75)Hand of the protector
-Just a easy way to help out with some healing (can save some playes when healers is LoS)
The other 2 can be used outdoor or might be used in M+
(90)Judgment of Light or Consecrated Ground
-Aegis of light is just not good imo. the others, they have the same output in healing depending on the fight. When consecrated ground is used you can help in a stack situationand and with judgment of light you just get a bit more hps on the raid.
(100)Seraphim or Last Defender
- Righteous protector, i just dont like that spec because i dont think it can provide what the other 2 specs can do (with the legendary head its alot better ofc but me and legendarys dont go hand in hand so i dont have it). Seraphim is the most used talent because its just so strong with 5,5k stat buff for 4 stats, the downside of the talent is that you lose SoRT and on some bosses that can make you die or not use Seraphim for a wile, and that makes the talent not as good as it sounds with the stat buff. on a progress fight Seraphim can be hard to use until you get the picture of how the fight will look like for the tactic your using(when can i sacrifice 1 or 2 SoRT for stats and not)
Last Defender can be used on add fights for it will give you up to 24% dmg reduction (if you have that many adds up at the same time). its just good when pulling alot of mobs. singletarget 3 % is not good.
To what extent do you play each of your offspecs?
At the moment im not playing retribution to much, its not the most fun spec but it can push alot of dmg so sometimes il go into dungeons and farm raids playing it. holy is realy fun but this expansion iv basicly had 2 friends that i always play with thats healers so not to much time spent on it. for retribution i got 45 so its not too up to date. When it comes to playing another main spec, thats always up to you guys and il be happy with what ever is needed to progress. After 11 years of WoW the fun part is to push bosses and become stronger so what spec im using could not matter to me to much.
Do you have any significant alts?
Not significant but my druid would be in a week or 2 if needed.
Did you ever change classes and do you consider doing so again in the future?
Iv played Paladin for basicly al my wow time (raiding) but the same goes for this question, what im playing is whats best for the guild and if that means houers practising my druid for example. then fine.

Raiding experience and guild history:
What guilds were you in before, why did you join them and why did you leave them?
Ok so because iv played this game for quite some time il leave the Burning Crusade out and most of Wrath or this will be a long post. Short about them is that i played BC extreamly casual and played with friends in there guilds and then in Wrath i played in a guild named Sad Pandas up until Trial of the Crusader, when they stopped raiding i went kinda back and forth for a while but ended up in Winds of Creation on daggerspine. Played with that guild for a While up until half way of BoT and BWD hc, at that time i got contacted by an old friend that i raided with back in Sad Pandas and he wanted me to join there newly started guild and start to build up something in the 10 man comunity so i did and i guess thats where the story starts.
After joining the guild that was named Fantastic Ten, i started to raid with them for a while and became officer and raidleader not to much later. At that time me and the guildmaster became a pair and from there me and her were to lead the guild for another 4 to 5 years.
With al the upps and downs that a guild has for that long of a time existing the progress was not to much to talk about, we didnt have the players that was good enough and we had problems raiding due to players leaving and joining etc so up until ToT we had some bad raids but we did try the best we could. we moved the guild to kazzak to make the recrutement better and it became alot easyer for us to sustain the raids. We named the guild Quintessence.
When we were progressing on HC Garrosh me and the guildmaster broke up, we told the players that we wanted to kill Garrosh and then end raiding to make it easyer for al raiders to find a new guild so we did and got a quite good rank at 572.
After that me and 2 of the top players in the guild went to Zenedar to a guild named Unexpected Veriable, there rank was 344 garrosh 25 man hc and 143 on 10 man hc. dont know my rank in 25 man because the first kill was before we joined that guild.
When WoD came out i played with Unexpected for a while but the guild even if it was good at the time we joined, was falling apard so thats when i figured with the kinda bad expansion overal to stop raiding for a while and take a break.
In Legion me and the 2 players started again but figured that it was time to create our own guild, we named it Team open Nord.
We didnt start the guild until the late end of Emerald Nightmare but in 5 raids we cleared al 7 bosses in mythic and thought that this was actialy going realy well. we did know that it was going to take some time before we could actialy compeat with the big boys but curve was a goal to stray for. In nighthold we started quite bad, didnt realy have the players to push the bosses down, got stuck on Krosus for a ling time but we chatted with some players to join the guild and after that we became stronger, cleared 9 bosses and it felt good again.
The players we invited constantly irritated the officer team and didnt like the way we did things so now some weeks ago they left the guild and a chain reaction come after. we lost 7 players and we were not able to even get to gul'dan at al. After 2 weeks of searching players we decided to quit the guild so now we are here.

What sources and/or methods do you use to keep your class knowledge up to date
Streams now days can be a nice help when watching classes you play yourself. Icyveins can be good sometimes, Ptr/M+ for gear and skill testing, pala discord/friends.
How do you prepare for a new bossfight?
I usialy look at the fight and compair it with other mecanics iv fighted before to trying makeing sense of what going to happen, some fights you can watch a stream or so and see what going on but not al the time you see from tank ptv etc.Next thing is to talk with guildis or friends to make sure to cover everything and not miss important stuff. Next thing would be to be up to date on gear and spec for the fight and (pots, flask, food, rune. i guess thats a + to wright ^^). Get a good night sleep, food to not get tired during raids.
Why you are applying:
What are your goals in this game?
My goals with this game is to progress and get better as a guild (ofc my proformance as a player aswell but also the relation that creates when spending houers/days on bosses). The time spent on WoW in my opinion needs to evolv and the harder it gets, the more fun it is.
What are the reasons why you specifically want to join Rock Paper Scissors?
My reason for applying is to have a steady but productive guild and i think you guys can provide with that.
More about you:
Do you have any days or times you're unable to raid?:
Can you tell us a little bit about yourself as a person?
My name is Stefan and i live in gothenburg. I play alot and late night Discord/ts/mumble/vent, on a friday night with some friends/guildis is awsome. Saturday is mostly my go out socialising with irl's time and on normal days its work and play. I do snowboard in the winter and love snow.
What is your proudest moment/achievement in WoW?
I think its world 572 kill on Garrosh hc, due to that i was raidleading and we made the tact up as best as we could to get him down. Not the best rank but, its something to get a kill on a boss and its something to create a guild that can get the kill.
What is your /played?
Total time played: 468 days; 17 hours; 47 minutes; 55 second. on my Paladin
Anything else you would like to add or explain?
Il just thank you guys for your time and hope to see you soon.
